I thought my son might like this book since he has a sister he likes to drive crazy at times. My son was recently diagnosed dyslexic, and I try to pick up high interest, easy to read books to encourage him with his reading. As we read the book together for the first time, chapter 2 talks about a sign the sister in the book had on her door. The book states "Most likely your sister calls you stupid. This is perfect. If you are stupid, you can't read." This is opposite of the message I want to send to my son. He already feels bad about his reading skills. We won't be reading this book again.
