After watching the Boxcar Children when it was on available on Netflix and now on DVD, my 6 and 9 y/o kids were intrigued and interested in the further adventures of the Boxcar Children. My 9 y/o daughter loves the mystery aspect of the stories and she blazed through books 1-4 and am as captivated and interested so far with books 5-8. She's entertained, gaining practice reading... all great!
