You'll discover answers to questions like: —Is it possible to blow up a balloon without actually blowing into it? —What is inside coins? —Can a magnet ever be "turned off"? —Do toilets always flush in the same direction? —Can a swimming pool be cleaned with just the breath of one person? Whether you’ve always been interested in STEM or you’re looking for a cool science fair project, you’ll want to test these fun and educational experiments for yourself! About the Author Tom Robinson teaches high school science and math and has coauthored an online advance placement physics course. He lives in the Seattle, Washington area.

I bought this as a Christmas present for my 7 year old son. The experiments are easy to do, and most of them use items you already have around the house, or can buy cheaply. Even my three year old likes to get involved, and while he doesn't always get the science behind each activity, he's entertained by the results. Our favorite activity so far is definitely the Balloon rockets!I currently home school my son and this book has come in handy for a few projects we have done together. He keeps a science journal where he writes his hypothesis and we are able to look back on past experiments.I would highly recommend this book to anyone who has a child that is interested in science or asks a lot of questions.
