Absolutely loved this book. This provides a helpful resource for parents, teachers, and counselors who are seeking to understand how to best support children and youth in their quest for understanding their own expression of gender. D. Ehrensaft provides helpful terminology, excellent descriptions of the whys and hows for different treatment, and beneficial ways in which to move forward. In the gender fluidity of today, many people are fail to be able to understand a child's desire to step outside of the traditionally set binaries of gender and gender expression, and therefore just dismiss this. Ehrensaft provides an excellent foundation for understanding this gender creativity.
