Wasn't sure what to expect, but once I opened the first book I was blown away. The books are excellent in every way - very high quality, the paper and illustrations are AWESOME, and the story line is superb! I love that this mixes modern people with historical figures and events. Great idea to use a special portal to go back and forth in time. These books bring our American history to life in a special and unique way. Can't put them down. I love all the characters and especially Liberty, the magical / talking horse. The subtle comments that may be picked up by adults reading the books are very clever as well, and I'm learning a lot that was never taught when I was in school. Thanks Rush, Kathryn, and your entire team. Hope there are many more books coming soon.
